Wishing Well Sanctuary is an animal sanctuary that specializes in farmed animals. Located in Bradford, Ontario, horses, cows, pigs, goats, sheep, donkeys, llamas, cats, roosters, and ducks all call Wishing Well home.

What does Wishing Well Sanctuary do?

At Wishing Well, each animal comes with a story. Many of these animals have been rescued from unthinkable situations, but when they join the Wishing Well family they are all cherished, loved, and cared for.

Wishing Well Sanctuary specializes in educating and promoting empathy, integrity, and the humane treatment of animals. They teach people to practice compassion and make respectful decisions, and they also educate on how thoughtless decisions can cause suffering to animals.

Visiting the animals & donating

Wishing Well Sanctuary welcomes people to take tours. They want you to learn about each animal and how they came to call Wishing Well their home. If you can’t make it to Brantford, you can also meet all the animals on their website.

They run on donations, and proceeds are used to feed and care for animals, and to provide humane education to youth and families.

I would encourage you to visit and learn from the animals and volunteers. Together, we can work to save animals and help to end animal suffering.

Xo. Sigourney.
