Vanilla Nice Cream

Home » Vanilla Nice Cream

May 4, 2020 //  by Sigourney//  Leave a Comment

Looking for a delicious, easy and completely guilt-free dessert? We’ve got you with our Vanilla Nice Cream! It actually couldn’t be any more simple and it’s made with 3 simple ingredients most will have on hand.

This recipe makes 2 servings, so feel free to half it and make a personal serving for yourself. This recipe really does taste just like vanilla ice cream, so feel free to add your favourite toppings or mix-ins. We love to top ours with a healthy drizzle of creamy peanut butter, dried goji berries or cocoa nibs. No need to get fancy though, you can mix in Oreo crumble, chocolate chips or whatever your heart desires.

Serve this on a warm summer day or any evening you’re looking for a sweet and delicious treat. We hope this becomes a staple in your house like it has in ours!

The recipe recommends using a blender with a tamper, but not to worry if you don’t have one. You can use a regular blender of a food processor, it will just take a little bit longer. Since there isn’t a lot of liquid in the recipe, you will need to stop and scrape down the sides pushing the ingredients towards the blades. If it is too difficult you can always add a little bit more dairy-free milk, you may just be left with a softer ice cream, but that’s OK!

Vanilla Nice Cream

Cook Time 5 minutes
Servings 2 Servings

Ingredients

  • 4 Bananas Frozen
  • 1/4 cup Non-Dairy Milk
  • 1 tbsp Vanilla Extract

Instructions

  1. Place all of the ingredients into a high powder blender (one with a tamper is best) and blend until you are left with a creamy ice cream texture. If you don’t have a tamper on your blender you can use a regular blender or food processor, you will just need to stop and scrape down the sides pushing the ingredients towards the blades until you are left with an ice cream consistency.

  2. Top with your favourite toppings, we love to use creamy peanut butter.

  3. Enjoy!
