Thyme is an herb with what we would describe as a cozy flavour. You can use either fresh or dried and it’s must-have for fall and winter cooking. Usually, we have a little of both on hand.
If you do buy it fresh and don’t have a way to use it, you can throw it in the freezer and use it to add flavouring to your homemade vegetable broth. As an herb, it also pairs well with Rosemary, or even as a substitute.
We find that the smell of thyme reminds us of the holidays. After all, 50% of stuffing is thyme (in our opinion).
