Sesame seeds are something we keep on hand, but tend not to go through too quickly unless we are feeling super inspired by Asian dishes. You’ll often find them topping stir-frys and other Asian meals, but they don’t add a lot of flavour to a recipe.
That said, they can really bring your plating to the next-level, so if you’re trying to impress, it can’t hurt to sprint a few sesame seeds on top. We use them in our Stir-Fry, Korean Bulgogi, and Vegetable Dumplings!
We definitely like to make sure we keep some on hand, but if you run out while cooking it shouldn’t make a huge impact on the final product.
