Raisins are a dried grape, and on their own, are a staple snack of many toddlers.
We love adding them to nut mixes, cookies, bread and other baking. Part of the same family you can also try craisins (dried cranberries) and blaisins (Brigette’s term for dried blueberries).
One of our favourite ways to use raisins (aside from making Ants on a Log) is to add them to our Granola. If you’re having a sweet craving, munching down on a few Sultana’s can satisfy your pallet with less guilt than the candy would!
Beyond just our granola, they play a hero role in our Oatmeal Cookies and Apple Pie Oatmeal. Give them a try!
