Mercy for Animals

Mercy for Animals

We love Mercy for Animals. They’re a charitable organization in the city who definitely have a strong presence. We see them at most festivals we go to in the summers, and they do a great job raising awareness. They also hold lots of events and activities to raise money and inform people about farmed animals.

Who Are They

Mercy For Animals is a Toronto-based organization committed to reducing suffering and protecting farmed animals. Why farmed animals? Well, farmed animals are some of the most abused and exploited animals on the planet. That’s why they’re looking to expose cruelty, prosecute abusers, and inspire consumers to make compassionate food choices. Although sometimes their posts may be shocking to see, it is also eye-opening to understand what really happens in order to provide animal-based products to dinner tables across many countries.

What does Mercy for Animals do

When it comes to what they do, they focus on a number of things. They provide education, holding investigations, promoting advocacy and partaking in corporate outreach. They are on the front-lines in protecting and fighting for the rights of animals.

But, in order to continue to champion to end animal cruelty, they rely on donations and support from the community. They are a great organization, doing incredible things. Take a look at their website to learn about how you can help.
