We can’t get enough Granola in our diet! It’s a delicious treat that’s actually good for you! Crunchy oats and seeds with the sweet flavour of maple syrup makes this the perfect breakfast, snack, and dessert!
The beauty part of our granola is that you can really make it your own. You don’t need to follow our recipe to a T, mix in whatever gets in your way.
When we whip this recipe together, we use chopped nuts and seeds and always sneak in hemp hearts. Why? They’re filled with protein and fibre, and go completely unnoticed when mixed into the crunchy granola. Sometimes we also sneak in raisins, but it really depends on what you’re using the granola for. If it’s for yogurt you can leave them out. But if it’s for a snack or nut mix then in they go!
If you’re going to use raisins or other dried fruit it’s important that you don’t mix them in until the last 5 minutes of baking. It won’t end well. The raisins become burnt and crispy and then you’re left picking them out trying to salvage the remains. Trust us on this one!
