Cinnamon is an aromatic spice used for flavouring. You can find it in many forms, including powder or stick. Found in a variety of cuisines, it helps in both sweet and savoury dishes. An added benefit is it’s also a full of antioxidants.
Growing up, cinnamon seemed to be purely reserved as a flavour for oatmeal, as a treat on toast, or as a baking ingredient. But that’s so not the case! Aside from the obvious like being a delicious flavour in a smoothie, cinnamon is also used to sweeten up lots of mains.
We use it to season our Roasted Chickpeas, in our Root Vegetable Soup, and of course in our Pumpkin Pancakes.
