Apple sauce is a multi-function pantry item. Commonly used as a side or dessert, it also makes for a great egg replacer in many baked goods. You’ll have super moist cookies and cupcakes!
Plus, it’s easy to make at home. All you need to do is boil and mash the apples. If you leave the skins on, you’ll get a really nice shade of pink!
You can change the flavour of your apple sauce by using different varieties of apples, or mixing multiple together. Add different spices to your sauce to shake it up, or keep it simple and classic. The world is your orchard!
